Force
How much force you can produce and the strength qualities that underpin higher-output movement.
OUTPUTPerformance Testing · Auckland
Objective performance testing to understand where you are strong, where you are limited and which physical qualities deserve attention next.
Measured. Not guessed.
Why test
Most athletes train hard. Far fewer can say exactly what their training is changing. Testing creates a measured starting point so the next block is built from evidence rather than assumption.
Testing does not replace good coaching. It sharpens the decisions good coaching is built on.
The profile
Physical qualities are looked at as a profile, not as isolated scores. The goal is to understand how the athlete produces, expresses and sustains performance.
How much force you can produce and the strength qualities that underpin higher-output movement.
OUTPUTHow quickly force is expressed — a key part of explosive actions such as acceleration and jumping.
RATEVertical and horizontal jump performance, giving context to how effectively force becomes movement.
HEIGHT + DISTANCETimed sprint performance to establish how you accelerate and move through high-speed efforts.
TIMEHow you brake, reposition and re-accelerate through change-of-direction tasks.
BRAKE + REACCELSide-to-side outputs provide useful training context when one limb is producing differently from the other.
COMPARISONStandardised conditioning measures give context to your ability to sustain and repeat high-intensity work.
REPEATFrom data to direction
Numbers only matter when they improve the next decision. Testing gives you a reference point for training now and a standard to compare against later.
Start with a clear picture of the athlete, the context and what needs to be measured.
Capture objective outputs across the physical qualities relevant to the assessment.
Use the profile to identify which physical qualities deserve attention in the next training block.
Return to the baseline later and measure what changed rather than relying on feel alone.
Who it is for
Create an objective starting point while the foundations of strength, speed, power and movement are still being built.
Establish a baseline before a new training block, pre-season or performance phase and track meaningful change over time.
Once medically cleared to progress, testing can add objective context to the physical qualities being rebuilt for sport.
Performance testing measures physical qualities. It is not a medical assessment and does not diagnose injury. If you have pain or a current injury, see a registered health professional first.
